LVN

hello everyone! I am new here and need a little advice please. I am trying to become a LVN and I want to join the rio hondo college program in whittier california, anyone can share their experience there? there is only two prereqs for lvn there and I was planning on taking those two clases and then apply and maybe 6 months to a year later try to apply to LVN- RN bridge but The counselor told me to take all the pre requisites now (RN prereqs as well) before applying to the lvn program but im worried that is gonna take a long time! and what if I don't want to do the RN anymore? Im a little confuse why can"t I come back to take the rest of the pereqs for RN after im already an LVN?
