LSBPNE

Hi, I’m in Louisiana and have been in the LPN recovery program for sometime now. I’ve been in a recovery since 2018 and have recently decided to try and get my license back. I’ve not used drugs since 2018, I always pass my drug tests as well. My question is, does the LSBPNE use the etg or whatever it’s called, in our urine drug screens? I never drink except maybe a glass of champagne for special occasions which I did yesterday (not even a whole glass) and I was chosen randomly for my test today. I’m physically sick thinking that I just threw away my last chance at getting my license back. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

I would think so because I think that's pretty standard everywhere, but I have no knowledge of Louisiana specifically. If you were told to abstain from alcohol, I'm fairly certain they're testing for it. If you were not told to abstain, then you should be good.

If there are more stringent ways, LSBPNE will definitely employ.

Keep us posted, praying for you.
