I am an LPN in Louisiana I work for a large catholic hospital on a busy 37 bed medicine floor. I am moving with my partner to NYC in September he is going to culinary school. I have been scoping the job maket and I've been noticing that there are no jobs for med/surg LPNS I can't work as a nurse if I don't work on an acute floor I'd rather quit nursing all together. Anyway can someone who has been having this problem please post thanks. And what about getting a job at in New Jersey is that recommeded and what is the job market there like. Can LPNS in New York admin dialysis. Davita is looking for an LPN to do it that would be the only other job i would be intrested in. ARE LPNS OUT OF WORK IN NYC?

All of the NYC acute care facilities hire LPNs. Many work in the specialized areas of the facilities.
Good Luck ! :balloons:
