LPNs and LD??????????

Hi everyone. I am going to be graduating from an LPN next year and then I will immediately continue with RN studies. I want be in LD and then later NCIU. my ? is: do any hospitals hire LPNs for labor and delivery? thanks for any help!! :devil:

Major metropolitan area: NO. Not sure of outlying areas. Both are considered specialty areas and because of all of the medications involved...

Most hospitals don't hire LPN's in Labor & Delivery. Luckily, I got a job on an L&D unit at a local hospital but the job outlook for L&D LPN's is not very good. I'm presently working on my RN so it's not really an issue for me.
