Is it worth becoming and LPN and will I be able to work during the program? I start in the fall of 2018

I'm finishing up my first week in LPN school, and I had to inform my job that I can no longer work a full time schedule, so I work PRN now. There's a lot of reading! We will have two test and two quizzes per week. I plan on working every other weekend only. But of course, you have to do what's best for you. I wish you the best of luck.

Is it "worth" it? Worth what? That's like asking if a house is "worth it" without giving any indication of the cost.

I apologize! I meant worth it to put aside my gen Ed's I need to complete for RN to do the LPN. Eventually I would like to become and RN and was wondering if it would be better to finish up my pre reqs and apply for the RN or do the LPN then do pre reqs while I work.

Thank you for your insight! Good luck through school!!
