LPN to RN

Published

I am looking for an online LPN to RN program. Was wondering if anyone has done the The College network program? I am nervous about the online nursing schools, so any feedback would be great. I work full time during the day, so I need to do online classes. I have met with an advisor from there and the only thing I'm not crazy about is after you complete the program you still need 250 hrs of clinical , which means I would have to find preceptors who are wiling to let me work with them and check me off on skills. Has anyone done this program? If so, coud you tell me your experience?

thanks!

The college network is not a program but a publishing company that sells expensive study guides. They are currently being investigated by the FTC and the subject of a class action suit for failure to be truthful and inaccurate disclosures.

Again TCN is NOT a school. They do not grant degrees. They cannot forward your transcript or credentials to any other school. They cannot legally offer academic advisement or guarantee admission. Do your research and due diligence.

So should I just go through Excelsior College online? What do you recommend?

Yes. TCN has NOTHING to do with Excelsior. Save several thousand in private loans ( not student loans) and go direct to Excelsior unless you live in CA.
