to all LPN to RN

NCLEX test takers, did u find the NCLEX RN was easier being an LPN already?

I am not sure to be honest. With my LVN boards I was younger and immediately after I took them I felt that the exam was really easy and I felt confident that I did well. A fellow classmate of mine took the boards with me and felt the same way. Once we realized that other grads saw the exam as hard we thought that something was wrong with our interpretation of the exam and we subsequently became frightened of our performances. Thankfully we both passed back then without ever studying for PN boards. (To be honest I think I was too young to think I needed to study at the time). Recently, I took my RN boards and I am anxiously awaiting the results. However, my experience this time around has been much different. I prepared for this exam and clearly noted the significance of preparation. I did not walk away with a level of confidence like the last time, but rather a level of confusion and uncertainty. Although experience is definately helpful, it can also be a hiderence because NCLEX is not real world. I can only hope that the culminating effects of experience, education, and NCLEX prep has blessed me enough to finally earn RN behind my name. The thought of not passing makes me cringe.
