The only other one I found was Taylor College (Belleview, FL), but I am not sure about their reputation. Also, Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL is great, but requires 1 yr lpn experience.
I know I just found those other schools too. Haven't found 1 school who does not require a year of
experience. Maybe its for the best.

Hi, I am sort of new the the forum and been reading through the posts just to find out that, most of the nursing schools that have the bridge programs are just almost impossible to get in mainly because of the gpa. I live in the Spring Hill area and PHCC college seems to have not only an extremely high gpa requirement but the waiting list is kind of long. Is someone in this nursing forum that knows about a college near Spring Hill area that does not require so much to get in. I cannot afford a private institution either. GPA 2.8 and already been an LPN for few years, have an AA degree and doing my last prereq (microbiology) in another college out of state. Please help me with some advise. I am new to the area and don't know much around. Thank so much for your input.

i graduated from their pn program and it was expensive but i got fin aid the whole way so it really helped me out. i didnt get put on a waiting list either. i really liked the college and the staff they were all very friendly and wanted to see us all succeed. i took my boards and passed my first try! i have been working as a lpn for over 8 months now. i did not have a really high gpa at the time i applied but stressed how much i wanted this in my admissions essay, so i think that is what helped me as well as my scores on my entrance tests?
i am just excited for their New Bridge WEEKEND program they are starting the the spring 2013. I can't wait to see if i got excepted, i have been waiting for a school around me to offer a program on the weekends so i can still work full time, it will be hard but i am already ready to become a RN. more money and better shifts!
