Was anyone else scared when they decided to go to LPN school? I plan on taking the TEAS a week and a half from now once I graduate college with an associates degree in child and family services on May 12. Nursing has always been something I have wanted to do. I am just so nervous for LPN school and worried that I am going to be a terrible nurse! I just finished an internship at an agency near my college with the developmentally disabled. They all loved me and want me to work in their residences. The staff there and the supervisor also really like me and offered me a job for the summer. I currently hold a 3.9GPA and I usually excel at my studies (I study constantly) but I am just worried! Was anyone else nervous/scared?

[color=#2f4f4f]i have come to believe that nervousness is a normal process during any change, especially in career goals. i was very nervous. i was majoring in early childhood education for quite a while and then had this crazy idea of changing my major to lpn because it was what i always wanted to do, i just never had the guts or confidence to go through with it. one day i went up to my college, filled out a change in major request form, and i've been so happy with my decision! i still get nervous. i finished my pre-reqs and got a call confirming that i made it into the program straight out of pre-reqs. i was shaking all over from nerves. nonetheless, i am starting my second semester of the program in two weeks...still nervous, but working towards what i know i meant to do with my life, my passion! :) best of luck in whatever you decide to do! if you want it, don't pass it up! if it turns out it's not for you, at least you can say you tried and gave it a shot...that way you won't have regrets!
Thank you for the encouragement!
