I am starting the LPN program in January and was wandering if there was anything I could do now to prepare myself for the program?

[color=#2f4f4f]keep yourself refreshed on your a&p and if you have the spare time go ahead and start practicing nclex-type questions and reading the rationales for the correct answers as well. in the program, most to all of the tests will be conducted in the same format as those. if you have a friend that has a fundamentals book lying around or can purchase one, go ahead and start reading the first few chapters and highlight key points. i always try to get my books as early as i can so that i can become comfortable with it before the semester begins. other than that, prepare by spending some time out of your week on here reading things others talk about that are going through their first semester...maybe they are venting about their weaknesses and you could take note of some of the more popular ones and do some of your own research on the matter. oh....and relax while you still can! :p[color=#2f4f4f]

best of luck with your future in the lpn program! :)

Start saving money right away in case you have to cut hours at work or give up your job completely. That was my biggest regret.
