So I am starting to prepare for the entrance interview for an LPN program and I was going over some general questions they ask and I'm a little caught up over one. When they ask strengths and weaknesses in an interview for the school would you give the same s/w as you would for a job interview or should they be more geared towards your academic tendencies? I don't know why but am totally lost on this one, everything I seem to think of sounds like something thats been said a million times before.

I was asked the exact same question, however I didn't expect it so I just spoke what I felt to be true about myself. I am a very patient person, so I let the campus director know. And of course, with every strength question there is a weakness question, lol. So I basically described to her what I believe my greatest weakness is, which is being a bit shy at first. I am a quiet person, so I let her know at first she won't be seeing me shout out answers, but its mainly because I am being observant. Believe me, if your character and desire to be a nurse shines through, this one question will not be a problem!! I believe basically that they ask your weakness so that they know what you need to improve on! So just be honest and it will be all good!
Good luck and congratulations for making it this far!!!!
