LPN to NP

I am entering my final year of high school and look forward to hopefully start out in post secondary next fall! My plan is to Get my LPN first then work my required time as an LPN then apply to LPN to RN bridge program then one day after having experience as an RN, hopefully apply to NP school. anyone else plan on/in the process/ have done LPN and worked all the way up to NP?
