LPN License

I was wanting to know can anyone tell me how long it took for them to recieve thier Arizona License. This is my first license and I was wondering if that is what taking it so long. I sent the fingerprints on May 15th and it is now June the second and they still say that they are waiting for the fingerprints.:uhoh3:

I know it seems that I am impatient, but I cannot wait to start working and would appreciate any information that can be given.

My friend got her license in about a month. It really all depends and I'm sure the state board said that same thing to you. In california, it can take up to four months so, just hang in there. There is not a whole lot you can do but wait....I'm sure I will be going through the same thing when I apply for mine!

I sent my application and finger prints in together, after being warned by a co-worker that sending them in seperately sometimes means they get lost. By the time I got my ATT, the Board already had my prints, and I had my license in my hand within 48 hours.

Interesting.....

Up here in New York, fingerprint is not required. I was an LPN....

After I passed the NCLEX-PN dated back to 1999, I got my license in 7 days including Sat. & Sun.

We pay more $$$ to LPN's in New York City.

Yep. I sent my prints in with everything about 2 months prior to graduation. It took only a few days until I had my license.

We were told that the prints can take up to 6 weeks to process, which is why we send in our paperwork so soon.

Well do you know if having a ticket will keep you from getting your license. I got a ticket once for criminal speeding and they said it would be taken off. There was nothing else to it I went to defensive driving class and that was it. That is the only ticket that I have as I know of since I have been here.

I would definately contact the state board on that one! I mean if it isn't on your record though? But, how do you really know? Was it a misdemeanor?? I'd still give the AZ state board a call, they should be able to answer your question right then and there!
