LPN to BSN Help

I have been an LPN for 9 months now and want to go back to school for my BSN . I have all my sciences/prereq's/general classes done for the RN. I still have to work full-time so my only option is to do it online. I have sent for information from Indiana State University, but what other online LPN to BSN Degree Programs are out there that would be my best choice :idea:? I also need someplace where I could get financial aid/scholarships or payment options. I live in southern PA (30 minutes from Gettysburg), and my clinicals would have to be fairly local (within a few hours). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Check out York College because they have a program. They take a ton of CLEP credits which really cuts down on costs also. I'm really leery of the online programs because not all states will accept them so definitely do your homework. The ones I've looked into seemed pretty expensive also. Good luck.

I am currently in an LPN program but also plan on almost immediately continuing on with my education. The plan that I've decided will work best with my goals is to get my ASN through Excelsior. Once that is complete I plan on enrolling in an accelerated RN-MSN program. This will eliminate 12-18 hour of undergrad credits. The only online LPN-BSN program I've seen is Indiana State's and it takes 3 years to complete. I don't have the patience to wait that long to get my RN when I can get my RN in a year doing it another way. I figure if I get my RN in a year, even though it's the Associate's route initially, I'll be able to make RN wages as I complete the rest of my degree. You could also do RN-BSN, just depends on if you want to stop at your BSN or go for your MSN. The schools I've looked at so far for RN-MSN are Graceland and Duquesne University.
