I am currently a nurse in a compact state and am looking to move to another state that is in the compact. I am wondering about switching my license to that state. While looking into doing so I am a little confused as to how it works. It looks like I have 4 months to make that state my permanent residence. Just wondering about after that time lapses. If I do not end up moving to that state within that time frame does that temporary license go away? Do I loose my license in the current state I'm in as well?
Also, I currently work in the OR and am wanting to move back to working on the floor. I have experience working on the floor as well. How would I go about this?
Thanks for any input!
