Looking for an LPN program,HELP

I am looking for an LPN program I can get into this year. I took the entrance exam at SW Boces and didnt do well on the reading comprehension part. I am currently looking into Mildred Elley School in NYC and would love some feedback of any kind. I am desperate to get into a school and ASAP. Please any suggestions. I have an info session scheduled for Mildred Elley and for those who are interested I will post any info you need. Thanks

I have one friend who started Mildred Elley on May 24th, and another starting July 30th. The one currently in the school has nothing but great things to say about the program. Despite it being extremely expensive (28k), it seems like a very good alternative. Hope that helps. :)

That's good to know. Can you fund out how hard the test was? I'm trying tongwtvan idea of what to expect. I really hate surprises. Also if they know if i have a chance to even get in that soon? Is the test timed? I have soo many questions. Thanks.

I'm sorry for answering so late!! You may have already had your meeting with the Mildred Elley School, but, if not, the test wasn't timed and it consisted of Math (like 10 questions) Reading, and writing (you read and correct 2 Essays) Oh, and the test is called the Compass test which is supposed to be 8th grade level. Write back and let us know how it turned out!!

i found the entrance test to be pretty easy. i will post my scores later (i don't have them with me). just wondering if want2banursebadly and felicia327 decided to attend this school. i'm looking for mildred elley friends. lol. i really would like to just compare info from people who are happy with the school. there is no turning back for me now. i will be starting in march. i'm curious to know how many people start every semester?
