Looking For A RN Program That Has No Electives

i would like to move to san antonio, tx to begin a rn program that has no electives (religion, phys ed, philiosophy, etc.) i am presently in indiana. we have programs, but i wanted to be in sa sooner than later. the associates degree rn program is 21mos (lpn 15mos.) i am having a hard time finding an existing program that fits the description above. anyone know of this type of program in san antonio? otherwise i guess i'll have to wait to move to my dream city&state:mad::nurse::redbeathe:yeah:

I believe in the state of TX, you have to have PE and an elective to graduate. :) The PE class is only 1 hour and the elective would only be 3 hours. It really isn't so bad. You can even do them online like I did. :) Good luck!

Thanks,

what is the name of the school?

I am in the DFW area. I am not familiar with the schools in SA.

i think you have to have electives for the majority of the school in san antonio

but here are some links:

baptist health school: needs anatomy I,II & microbiology, & psychology

san antonio college:comp I,II & ethics & psychology & computer literacy & lifespan growth and development & chem I &anatomy I, II & microbiology

st.philip's college: http://myspccatalog.alamo.edu/content.php?catoid=5&navoid=636#Admission_to_vocational_nursing

for the BSN programs:

uthsc-sa and uiw=need lots of electives
