Looking into DMAT

Hello

I am a new grad (still unemployed) with my RN looking to get involved with DMAT I have emailed the head of the chapter in CT and he told me to send in my resume which i just did. (I have recently started to become involved with the Red Cross but I want to be able to do more).

I want to know is there anything that i can really do for DMAT (clinically) given my recent graduate status with little hosptial experience?

I am not expecting to get a job with them or anything i just want that training and experience to help me get a job AND continue to work with them once i finally gain employment in a hosptial.

Thanks
