Just enrolled with excelsior last month and have all prereqs. Money is very tight so ? is can you get a student loan through like SallieMae for this? I really need to get this program finished?

I'm not sure about loans but wanted to give you a few options for completing the prereqs. CLEP and DSST exams are about 70-90 each, depending on testing center. Clovis CC in NM offers a very, very affordable tuition for out of state students up to 7 credits, cheapest in the nation. Also, Straighterline is another avenue for prereqs: I signed up for the 99 monthly plan and paid like 29.00 per course (had a coupon) and completed the following. English Comp I & II, College Algebra, Biology, Chemistry, Business Communication, Macroeconomics, Medical Terminology and Business Communications. That was the best deal I made because I was knocking out 2-3 courses in a month. You will need to conserve cash for your EC exams, with 7-8 to take. Good luck!

I received a loan thru Wells Fargo. I dont know what my credit score is but its certainly not perfect.. The intrest rate is high but I had no other choice. I knew I would never be able to pay out of pocket. Nervous 1 I noticed you mentioned Clovis NM. Where are U if you dont mind me askin. Im In Hobbs NM

I'm a long ways away from NM, I'm actually in VA. I learned about Clovis while knocking out my prereqs earlier this year. But I never did take one of their classes. I was amazed at their tuition rate, even for out of state students.
