Linfield BSN Spring 2015

U.S.A. Oregon

Hey!!

Just seeing if anyone on here has applied to Linfield's BSN program for Spring 2015. I couldn't find a thread already started, so if there is one, just let me know!

I am just anxiously awaiting my acceptance/rejection letter and wanted to find out how many others are in the same boat.

This waiting game can be super nerve wracking!

I am an LPN trying to get into a BSN program and then hopefully a masters program.

I am currently enrolled in a LPN2RN program, but am hoping I get in to Linfield as it is more convenient for my family and I.

Look forward to hearing from some of you!

I applied. Hoping to hear back soon!

Letters go out this week...good luck!!!

This soon!? I thought they went out Oct 1st? Did they send you an update? I'm super nervous..

I e-mailed asking, because I am trying to delay my orientation for another program. lol

She said letters would go out this week, she wasn't sure what exact day but Friday at the latest.

I am super nervous also!!

Still haven't heard back. Has anyone else got their letter yet?

I was accepted!

congrats! I wont find out until tonight!!

I got in as well!!!!! I'm so excited right now! (Happy Dance)

Hi! Congrats on your acceptance. I just stumbled upon this post so I thought I would ask just out of curiosity... I am planning to apply for entry to the BSN program for Fall 2015, may I ask what your background was such as prerequisite GPA, experience, etc? Just want to gauge my potential application!

Thanks :)

I had a 3.81gpa. All of my prereqs done. And about 4 months as a CNA when I applied

All preqs done and have an associates from the local JC. I have a 3.8 with 5 years of working in hospitals in a variety of roles. (ER,Medsurg,ICU). I volunteered for 3 years with the redcross, almost 1.5 years with OHSU and have done a couple of volunteer medical tent type of deals. I also have shadowed a variety of nurses,PA's and doctors at a couple of different hospitals.
