Likelyhood of being admitted into a CRNA program?

Published

I am graduating with my BSN from an Accelerated 12 month nursing program in a few months. My GPA from nursing school is 3.90. I have also taken the GRE and scored 640 in math 490 in verbal and a 4 in the written section. My question is, what are my chances of getting into a CRNA program since I have two prior college degrees from when I was younger where my academic performance wasn't as strong?

My previous degrees are a BS in General Science and BS in Exercise Sports Science, with my current nursing GPA my over all GPA would be 3.1. Do you think anyone would let me into their program once I had a few years of experience in ICU???? I really appreciate your honest input!

If you get some good ICU experience, it shouldn't be a problem. I have a friend with very similar story & the high nursing GPA basically got her in anywhere.

Well, i got into CRNA school and my grades were close to yours too. GPA 3.8 for nursing school

verbal score 450 math 610 written 4. my GPA prior to nursing school was 3.4 and i got in. my previous major was biology.

Anyways, i got 2 1/2 years in NICU(neonatal ICU although they dont accecpt that) and 1 years and 8 months adult ICU when i got accepted.

So get a good experience. if you cant get into an adult ICU right away go to Pacu then after 1 year go to an adult ICU.

Good luck
