My school requires 3 letters of recommendation and I have not worked in over 6 years. I am a stay at home mom and student but even most my classes are online so I am trying to figure out who to ask for letters. I have not even lived in the same place more than 2 years in the past 6 years since my husband is military so I dont even have a lot of connections with people or if I do they are literally all over the world lol. I was told they have no bearing on acceptance and are mainly to confirm your identity but I still want them to be good. Any ideas? Who did you ask?

Do you attend church? If so, your pastor would probably be willing to serve as a reference. If you're active in your children's school, their teachers could also do it.
Wishing you the best of luck on your nursing education.
Those are great ideas but I dont attend church and my daughter just started a part time program a couple weeks ago since we have been home schooling. I have until March so I think I can probably come up with something before then.

Did you do well in your online classes? One of my letters of rec came from an instructor of an online class. I was a little nervous about asking her because all our interactions had been online but she was very excited about being asked, and after a couple e-mails back and forth to clarify some details about the program and my specific goals felt comfortable writing a strong letter in support.
Try asking your online instructors - there may be one or more who is willing to write a letter for you! Being military are you involved in any social groups or clubs geared towards military families? Anyone in one of these groups will to write a letter? Where you a part of a home-school co-op or extracurricular activities program that another parent could write on your behalf?
