Left Residency Program after 5months

I quit my ER nursing job 5m into the residency program due to issues with my preceptor that weren't properly resolved. 10 months later and Im still struggling to find a job. Im applying to RN jobs and residency programs in a different specialty however I haven't received a single interview. Im applying for the next round of residency programs and was wondering whether I should include the 5 months of experience or completely leave that out and pretend Im starting fresh. I genuinely don't know why I haven't heard back from hospital programs as I got a lot of interviews during my last semester in nursing school. (I graduated Dec 2022). Any advice or guidance would be very much appreciated as I feel blacklisted from nursing ?

Definitely list your previous residency. If not, your resume will appear you've gone 1.5 years with nothing. And some boards of nursing will reprimand you for not listing jobs on your resume. Have you tried entering another residency? Also look into the Veterans Affairs residency program. Search USAJobs or Nursing at VA. You've got this.
