Learning new words

I was reading through A&P and saw many words that I just could not pronounce. How do you master this task of pronouncing the very words that we will have to use daily in class?

:no::bugeyes:

I wanted to see if I could find a program that would say the word and I repeat it. This would help me a lot with memorizing these words. Dose anyone know of one?

I don't have a website, but I can honestly say that by the end of A&P it will be a lot easier to naturally say things correctly just from class lectures and reading- are you sure nowhere in your textbook is has pronunciation? most have some sort of help for the most difficult vocab words either right in the readings, index, or dictionary of terms.

good luck! and don't be afraid to ask your prof if you don't know how to say something

Hey,

This website from Merck has all this wrapped into one. You must have your speakers on, you click on a word and someone pronounces it for you! LOVE IT!

Hope this helps ya!
