How is the program at Long Beach City College is it hard to get accepted? Is there any wait lists? I currently work as a Dialysis Tech in Fresenius Medical Care and am looking into getting my LVN at Lbcc, going to take my Prerequisite classes starting August. Just want to know how was the program there and what your experience was. If you wish to inbox me feel free too :)

Hey I just took my Nclex yesterday and I graduated from the Lvn program at lbcc

If you have all of your prerequisites it will be very easy for you to get in also have mental health vn240 when you apply they like to see all your classes taken before.

I got in the first try!

The program is 2 semesters and a half. The instructors are really good if yo know your stuff

Study study study and you will be fine!

Oh ok nice. Thanks for taking your time to reply. I'm currently taking CNA, BIO60, Pharmacology, & Engl 105. How's pharmacology and bio60 are they hard classes? And do you need to have reading proficiency to apply for lvn? Cause it says only writing. Sorry for all of these questions haha

No worries I wish someone would of told me this information when I started at LBCC....

Ok wow you are taking a lot of classes so that means you better pass them all and be sure you will pass all of those classes. The last thing you want is to have withdraw (W's) as they call it or worse D's/F's.

Pharmacology is memorization a lot of it

I didn't take Bio60. I took anatomy 1 physiology 1 and microbiology 2 which summarizes the main 3 topics in bio 60

I dunno about the reading class either because I bypassed it in the assessment but I think you have to have English 1

Ok I think I answered it all :)
