Lasalle Achieve Program Fall 2014

Published

Hello,

Is there anyone already in the program or plan to attend the program for Fall 2014. I'm applying for the Fall 2014 entry. I would like info about the program and the NLN entrance exam.

Moved to the Pennsylvania State Nursing Programs forum for more of a response.

Hi All-

I am in the process of applying to La Salle University Nursing Achieve Program for Fall 2014.

Is anyone else in the application process? Acceptances?

How far are you in the application process? What is your GPA? Have you taken the NLN exam yet and if so, what did you score? rank?

:specs:For those of you with acceptance, or who have attended La Salle's program, can you shed some light on the program? What are course like? Clinicals? How was job placement? Prep for the NCLEX?

What supplies do they ask you have? What resources help you? Do they supply their own unifroms, or do they require the standard white?

Thanks in advance, look forward to hearing where everyone is in the process!

Is anyone else in the application process? Yes.

Acceptances? Nothing yet, still sending off transcripts, and clearances.

How far are you in the application process? I am really just starting, trying to get all my clearance completed, and still taking one or two pre-reqs.

What is your GPA? Currently, a 2.7, Science 3.0 . Trying to raise the overall.

Have you taken the NLN exam yet and if so, what did you score? rank? I am set to take the exam in October of this year.

Hello

Iam in the application process. In the process of doing my nj clearance and sending my transcripts. I'm taking the test in Nov.

Hey guys, just wondering how many years does it take to complete lasalle achieve program .Pls need a reply as soon as possible

Two and a half years once you start..and you will get BSN

Is the program hard. I work in the daytime and would need a night program. Hopefully I padd the NLN test so I can get in.

The program is NOT a cake walk. It will take alot of dedication, sacrifice, and hardwork if you want to get A's and B's. The program is set up to accommodate those who work in the day. I'm almost one year in...and I can tell you that I have missed many trips and parties because of studying, clinicals and care plans. The best advice I can share is to read and do not rely only on what you hear in class...for the first quiz/test so you can get a feel of how you best learn. You will need to secure a close knit group of classmates who will turn into your cheerleaders/motivators when you become overwhelmed or start second-guessing yourself. Your classmates are the only ones that will truly know what you are going through. I have nothing but praises for my professors thus far...and hopefully for the remainder of my time at LaSalle. Enjoy your summer and relax...because there's really no way to prepare for nursing school until you actually get in. Once again enjoy your summer and relax...because next year this time there is only a one week break between the Spring and Summer semester...and it will be the shortest week of your life. :banghead:

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to see if there are any people who are for sure accepted in the Achieve program. I'm currently going through all the clearances and background checks and stuff and I wonder if anybody is going through the struggle like me. Well lemme know if anybody can provide any feedback on how things are going for them :)
