Hi
I am starting Barry this FAll as a SRNA and was wondering for all those SRNAs out there , what laptops are you using? I am thinking of the apple macbook, but wondering if this will be a problem with my classes and what the school uses-such as powerpoint presentations? Is it better to stick to a PC?
Any help would be appreciated...THANKS!

I have a Mac book and I love it. I haven't had any problems with uploading my power point to windows. If you haven't already, go into an Apple store, they can give you a rundown and show you how compatible they are with windows. I haven't had any problems with compatibility.
Thanks so much! glad to hear b/c that is the computer I really want!

Good luck! I'm going to be going to Barry as a SRNA, but that is a few years down the road.

Make sure your program doesn't have any distance learning classes while you are in clinical. Some people in my program with macs have had problems with classes and info that wasn't mac compatible. Contact Barry and see what they say.

The latest models of Mac have the dual-core built in -- cross-compatible.
