Kaplan test

Has anyone around here taken the Kaplan test more than once or at all ? I took the Kaplan today after studying for only two days (found out last minute) anyways I made a 63 and have to have a 65 to be able to apply for nursing school. Luckily I will be re testing in 2 weeks from today. I purchased the Kaplan test prep book which was nothing like the test I took today !? Has anyone else experienced this? Another question.. The Kaplan prep book test has stuff like novel:book:: (cant remember what these are called) and I did not have a single one on the test? Did any of you guys see these on your test. Also In the book it talks a lot a lot a lot about animals, plants and bacteria. Did not have a single question about that either and I wasted so much time studying!
