I am so confused. I took my NCLEX-RN exam in October and failed, it was my first attempt. I was so disappointed and felt like throwing my hands up in the air and giving up. So for the past few weeks I haven't really had the motivation to study at all, but over the weekend I decided I would try and take it again. I am not sure what to study and what not to study, not even sure how to study at this point. I have already taken the Hurst review which helped a little but apparently not enough. I have now enrolled in learningext.com which they say is good. But my big question is Kaplan, is it worth it. Also, please feel free to offer any advice. Thanks

I have taken Kaplan around three times now with the idea of doing it all the way but to me it is so boring. I mean the video lectures are good but way to long and monotonous. It is good to practice questions tho. I would recommend it if you really have the patience to sit in front of a computer for hours at a time. Me, I am more of a reader so I like to be able to read a copuple of chapters here and there. This time because I have so many review books what I am going to do is focus on one body part or stage and read it in all the books. For example if I am studying pediatrics I would read every pediatric chapter in each book I have for a day. Something is bound to repeat and stay in my head huh? Lol I sound crazy writing this but this will be my third attempt and I am running out of ideas. Good luck to you!
I broke down and bought the Priority and Delegation book that a few people have recommended. I haven’t received it yet, but I will let you know how it is. I also have Saunders book that I need to read through and do all the questions. Have you tried the Hurst review. Did you do the Kaplan on line or classroom?
