Kaplan Exit Exam

Published

Has anyone ever had to take the Kaplan secured proctor test? I failed both of my chances for the Exit HESI and now I have to take the Kaplan. I am really nervous because I do not know what to expect. Any advice would be great!!!

Im looking for advice too. I take mines on the 14th!! Im nervous and really hope I pass

Kaplan is no joke. Best way to study for it is to utilize the online kaplan q-bank

So glad someone answered me:) I have completed the entire qbank with an average of 59%. Does that sound about right?

Yep, that's good. I did the q-bank prior to my RN when I was in the LVN program because I had failed the LVN nclex my first try. I also scored in the 50's and ended up passing nclex on my second try, same with a good handful of my classmates. Doing those questions help to develop your critical thinking skills. Aside from that, make sure you know a little bit about all things since you can't know a lot about everything due to the vastness of nursing content. Certain books like nclex in a flash helped me greatly in passing exams like exit hesi and proctored Kaplan. The evolve case studies also helped me to a lot in terms of how to analyze tough questions.
