Hello everyone
I have just received an offer as a travel nurse for kaiser in California. I am wanting to stay as a full time employee once I get my foot in the door so to speak. Does anyone know their current rates for registered nurses, I know it's unionized which I like and the rates are usually set. Is a good idea to take a travel assignment there then apply full time if they like me, what is the process with that? I know that they recently negotiated a new contract in January and everything looks promising with kaiser, just want to know any information about long term employment with them.
Thanks

They have a reputation for being at the top of the pay scale. I am interested in them as a future employer, was it difficult to get an interview or response?
My wife and I are a travel nurse team, we got submitted to kaiser about a week ago. They have a middleman type of service that does their hiring process. It was a online interview then a phone interview. I found a 2010 article that give average benefits for working at kaiser do you know if these are legit or have got better since then?i will post the link. Just click on pay and benefits, let me know if these numbers sound right
thanks

I don't know about their actual wages other than what I read online (glassdoor) but my sister says their one year PACU nurses leave her hospital for $75/hr Kaiser jobs in Fresno. That number was actually from a few years ago.
