just a hello

Hello everyone just wanted to say hello and tell everyone i am starting my cna classes at my local community college tuesday.I thought i was going to have to wait till August but then there was a cancelation and i was able to get it classes are Monday-Thursday 9-1 it ends in March 11th so it is going to be alot of information very quick but i am ready for the challenge.i also wanted to say thank you to the admins this is a great place for someone looking to get in the medical field i am hoping to work my way up to R.N.but i am very new to all this so i am still working getting info on how excatly i need to do that.i am a little nervous about being a male at the age of 33 just starting outin the nursing profession.:)

Welcome to allnurses. Don't worry about being 33. The average nursing school student is in his/her 30-40s. You will fit in just fine.

cna classes are going great we are donig labs now and start getting skills checked off tomorrow so by march 8th my skills portion of the comptency test will be done and then i will just need to take written test.so that is great i like the fact my instructor will be the one doing the skills portion of the state test :)
