I just failed a midterm. The worst part is it wasn't even one of the harder classes. It was Issues in advanced practice. I did ALL the reading, I even skimmed back over everything again before taking it. I've just had so much going on lately. My child has been home sick this whole week with the flu. I just get test anxiety and second guess myself so much. I'm so afraid of flunking out. I have taken so much time away from my family lately. I changed jobs in order to go part time. I have tons of student loans. I've just got to make it. I have another midterm in a week. It's going to be extremely difficult. It's in Adult Acute Care Nursing I. I'm terrified of failing!! I'm praying hard that I pass. I don't want to let everybody down that has been through so much to support me.
Well I have case studies to do. Thanks for listening.

Im sorry this happened to you. Take a deep breath before taking your next midterm. If you are too worked up and fearful of failure, you will. Just focus and don't overthink things. Good luck!!!

Take a deep breath, cry if you have too. My poor husband has turn into Dr Phil and Oprah more then once and twice. And I still have an year to go :) But done let fear consume you. I truly understand how you feel and what you going thru. If you get the opportunity, go ask to go through your exam: Did you change some answers or did you over think a few questions? Usually when I go through the test and my midterm, I find that let my anxiety take over. Another good thing, review how you studying. Do you cram or do you space out your topics ? Kathrn99, you made it this far, I know you will make it the rest of the way.
Thanks for the encouragement. I have decided to change my attitude. I'm going to make it!! One way or another it can and will be done. I'm praying hard.
