Just another vent.

I am really sick and tired of some of the immature and unprofessional behavior that I see when I am at work. Sure, it is ok to have fun and be social but there is a point where it is totally inappropriate. I don't want to go into to much detail because I don't want to type it again. So if you want a gist of what I am talking about please see the "Frustratingly obnoxious people" thread page 2. I'm just done with it. Can't believe that these people work with patients. They are too concerned about having their fun rather than worrying about how their behavior affects their future employment.

    You don't say where you work but in my unit as the charge nurse I am in charge of setting the tone of the unit. We have fun but our first priority is taking care of the patients, no execeptions. And I have the responsibility of monitoring this issue and keeping things in check. Management needs to get on this problem.

    True they do need to get in on the problem. The thing is, I have no incident that what happened the other night occured because I gave that stupid piece of paper back. But I was clear in my warning.
