Job Response Time

I've been applying to nursing assistant jobs at a hospital near me. I have applied to about 15 separate positions as they become available. I meet all the requirements; however, I have not gotten a response on any of them yet. I have applied to them ranging anywhere from 4 weeks ago to 1 week ago. My question is, how long is the normal response time for a hospital to contact you? Also, is it helpful to go in person to apply for a job at a hospital?

Log into the hospital's job website (same one you used to apply for jobs). It should state the status of your applications (not considered for position, under review, etc). Hospitals will not call or email you unless they intend to interview you.

Hospitals do not accept in person applications. They want them sent electronically.
