Job Help...

Hello all, I need help with this specific scenario.

I interviewed for a position about a month back and I was successful in securing a position with Employer A, the offer is pending with a verbal acceptance.

Fast forward...

A week later, Employer B contacted me for an interview for a full-time position.

I did go to the interview, because I'm really interested in a full-time position. Now I'm in a position where I do no want to burn any bridges, and Employer B states that their hiring process will take about 2 weeks.

Do I mention to them I have another offer? I really don't know how to handle this situation. I took offer A because it was what I wanted but offer B is similar and is full-time security.....

Help... Thank you .

I doubt that telling employer B that you have another offer will make any difference to the process, it's an employer's market in which employer's have multiple cadidates to assess and the process can easily take two weeks. If you end up going with employer B, it is likely that employer A has another candidate in the wings that they can hire.

Each posting receives 100 applications in this job market. Trying to rush an employer will not help.
