Jeff State Fall 2018

Hey guys! Has anyone applied to the fall 2018 or thinking about it? If so, what are you points and to what campus?

I'm going to be applying and I have 35 points right now. I am going to take the ACT over to see if I can increase my score to at least a 37. I can only go to the Evening program due to having to work full time. Would love to hear what others are applying with.

The nursing applications are now available on the website. I'm super nervous, but excited! I'm applying with 41 points to the night and weekend program.

I'm applying to the day program at Shelby/Hoover and Clanton with a 40. I'm curious about what the range is for normal acceptance and how many estimated spots there are.

I spoke with the nursing advisor at the Shelby campus and she mentioned the minimum range you want to be in is between 38-41 points for fall semester. Anything over 41 is pretty much guaranteed acceptance. I'm not sure about the amount of spots.

I just finished with my advisor and went ahead and turned in my application! She estimates it'll be around June 15th when we hear back.

I just turned my application in also! *cross fingers* This is going to be the longest wait ever....

I went to the Jefferson campus today, the adviser told me 38 should be OK, but I'm not sure

Hi everyone! I turned in my application last week, and applying with a 39. I was able to increase my ACT score by 4 points, which was such a relief. I look forward to hearing what the cut off will be. I only applied to the night program at Shelby. I wish everyone the best, and hope you all get in.

Yesss I'm extremely nervous! The advisor told me we could possibly hear something back the first week of June. That's really soon!
