Congrats on your acceptance! I was just recently accepted to IU Kokomos BSN, so I share your excitement! Even tho we're at different campuses, I'm sure we'll be going thru similar things if you want to communicate! I have just finished all my health documents and am now waiting patiently for Aug 22!

I am going to IUPUI, lol Congrats on the Bloomington spot, I know that one is a tough one because of the spots they have. I know IUPUI just took 90 for this fall class. I am also very excited for August 22nd! I do also like the Red scrubs!!! :)

Congrats!!! I was expecting to be transferred to iupui since they take more but I'm so happy I got a bloomington spot!! The red scrubs sound so much better than the all white ones I've been hearing about on here !!

I was wanting to apply to IUK can you give me some information on how the program works there and did you fill out the online application?

I just got accepted into the IUB program too!! I'm soooo excited for orientation and to finally begin everything this fall!

By how the program works, are you asking about the application process? Well, first you have to be accepted as a student to iuk. )nce you're a student, you then need to meet with a nursing school advisor and they will let you know what you need to do. There are certain classes required to apply, and then even more required to start the program. You'll get your application online and then submit it by the deadline for the semester you want to start along with your background check and the teas 5. Do you have any pre reqs done yet? I took all mine at ivy tech as its cheaper and closer to my home. Let me know if I can help or answer any more questions.

I still have many of the prerequisites to complete, but as of now, I only have a 3.0 GPA. I believe that the admissions staff looks mainly upon the GPA of the nursing prerequisites over the cumulative GPA. Do any of you know if this is true? Also, what are some tips that you have for me?

Yes.. Admission is VERY competitive and alot of it is based on gpa. My overall gpa was a 3.95 when I applied with my "nursing" gpa being 3.8 on the application. All I can say to you is that you should meet with a nursing advisor and talk with her.. Also try your best to do awesome in finite and anatomy. They really look at the critical thinking classes.
