ISU questions

Nursing Students Online Learning

I have been an LPN for 12 years and wanting to get started on my BSN through ISU. The questions I have are about the pre-reqs.

1. I need Speech and I was wondering how hard the DANTES Principles of Public Speaking was and what you used to study for the test out. What kind of subjects do they use for the speech? Do you have a quiet place to do the speech or do you do it in front of someone?

2. What did you use to test out the English Composition requirement?

3. Will Introductory Chemistry work to satisfy the Chemistry requirement?

I am going to be testing out of Intro to Sociology & Human Growth & Development this fall. In the Spring I will be starting at my local CC to get A&P 1 & 2, Micro, and Chem. If I can test out on Speech and English Comp I will be able to apply to ISU Spring 2011. Will I need to take the TEAS before I enroll? If so what did you use to study for this?

Is there anyone who is just starting and want to do this together.

Thanks a bunch.

If no one responds to you here, you might try addressing these questions with the school -- I'm sure they could provide answers for you. Just a thought. Good luck! :)
