Is it wrong to interview if not interested.....

Hello,

I am interested in travel nursing again. I have files with several different agencies. This would be my first assignment, One agency really has my interest and I have been submitted and I am waiting for an interview. The location is very far from home...but I would like to try it. :) I wasn't sure due to get home sick, but you live life once.:p

The other is in my home state and I am not that interested so I am wondering should I still submit and wait for interview and see how it goes...would that be wrong? I am not interested in this assignment because the location is extremely rural and seems like a town out of the 1940's so I am not impressed with that...:yawn:although it is only 8 weeks. I told the recruiter I will get back to her and I could hear the persistance in her voice, then she says if you aren't sure its not fair to interview knowing that you are not interested. I can see her point.

What do you do you if you interview with the less desirable location and they like you and offer you a position and you refuse....is that wrong to do??? :confused:Trying to learn the tricks of the trade...

Have you heard of many hospitals requiring 36hrs one week and then 48 hrs the next??? I wanted an assignment close to home but just can't see myself in a really rural non progressive town. And I am not used to do 36hrs/48hrs rotations.

Thanks in advance!!:redpinkhe
