I am currently a 20 year old nursing student. I work as a CNA in a nursing home where I absolutely adore my residents. I have been seeing a lot of negative comments lately about the career, people saying it isn't worth the stress. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to become a nurse and I genuinely like helping people. My question for everyone is, is it worth it?

Any career is what you make of it, whether it's nursing or something completely unrelated. Regarding the negative comments, think about this: people are much more likely to take the effort to complain than they are to post something good about their job. And that's part of why AN is here: to let people vent, get it out, and all that.
You could also ask that question of every nurse on this site, and each one will give you a different answer. Overall, yes, I think my nursing career is worth it. Are there days when I just want to throw my hands up in frustration and walk out? Absolutely, but that's probably going to happen at some point in any profession. But I work with a great team who helps me out, most days I enjoy what I do (and the ones I don't usually involve extremely long shifts or deaths in the OR), and if I had the choice to do it over again, I would most likely say absolutely.
