Hello there! i hope some of you can help us.
I am a nurse from the Philippines as well as some of my friends. It has been a while since we have been waiting for our U.S Visa. Yes, we have completed the CGFNS, IELTS. NCLEX exam, but it seems like we have been waiting tooooo long, and we have been thinking about going tp NZ, Australia and I suggested that why not try Canada?
We really dont know the whole Processing in Canada though, can anyone here help? any advice? It would greatly be appreciated.

I would suggest a good read on here, there has been plenty posted. Firstly though you need to decide which province you want to live in and look up that board of nursing to see what requirements are for foreign nurses. If you have signed a contract with hospital/agency for the US make sure it will not have any impact or implications

Canada has many nurses from the Philippines - I am in Toronto.
I am not sure all the requirements. It may be that you just have to write the RN exam and pass...?
they also have bridging for international nurses offered in schools.
One thing I find about Ontario, too much casual and part time work in hospitals!
But they always seem to need nurses...
any others out there that have come from the Philippines that can weigh in?
