HI rninformatics...

I have read a few of your post and wanted to ask you what is the best way for me to get into informatics? I've been a nurse for a few years but prior to that, I worked in misc computer jobs. I'm very computer literate, however, I do not know how to code. I'm not sure what all positions are available in informatics but I'm very interested in learning. I have an assoc degree in nursing. I'm a super user at my facility for our epic go live. I've heard this is a good way to get my foot in the door. Any info you can shed for me would be greatly appreciated.

I'm loving epic by the way. It's getting much better and easier as the days go by.

Greetings RockinChick,

Being a super user is a good start. What is it in informatics you want to do?

You don't have to know how to code or be a programmer to get into this specialty.
