Hello follow nurses! :)
I am a recent graduate and just had my first interview in LTC. I felt that the interview went very well. She asked if she could take my police check and TB tests. She informed me that she will be calling my references in the next week. Also, she informed me that everything goes well that I would be attending an educational seminar about the facility in two weeks. So..does that mean that I will be hired? Is the educational seminar about the facility mean it is the beginning stages of orientation?
I will definitely be anxiously waiting this entire week. :)

You're not hired until you're hired. All sorts of roadblocks can and do happen.
Note to self: Be very leery of anyone who is very eager to hire on the spot. Make sure that this is a position that you can handle. Don't just accept it because it's an offer.
