Interview

I just recieved a call from Nova Southeastern University and they gave me a scheduled interview time. Does this mean i have a good chance of being accepted into the nursing program or does everyone who applies get an interview.

Thanks

It all depends on your school. At my school, 80 were interviewed this year and 40 got in but 180 all together applied. So when I recieved the interview my chances of getting in were better than they were prior to recieving the interview. Your best bet would be to talk to the school. Best of luck with your interview :)!!!

cgonzal6,

if you were invited for the interview with nova, you have a pretty good chance. nova nursing program has been around since 2004, and from previous statistics, about 600 applicants apply for the august term, and 400-500 apply for january term. (you have "less" competition if you apply for teh january term, lol). approx. 150 applicants get invited for the interview, and 100 will be selected for the bsn. so yes, you have a good chance if you got the interview. i got these facts from nova.

now of course, you still have to do well in the interview (ie: answer the questions to a panel of 3-4 people, and write an essay). what they are looking for is your interporsonal skills and your personality. you can have a good gpa, but if you can't carry yourself professionally during the interview, you are out of the game.

speaking of which, i have an interview oct 8th! :yeah:
