interview

Hello. I am new to the forum and am wanting to know if anyone has any information about the type of questions that are asked in a Nursing School interview? I am so nervous and any help would be appreciated.

Well during my interview I was asked questions like:

Why do I want to be a nurse?

If I would consider working in another medical area outside nursing?

What my future goals are (like Bachelors or Masters program).

Where I see myself if 5 years.

Where I see myself in 10 years.

Tell me about yourself?

What do you do in your spare time?

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

What do you do to relax?

Why are you interested in our program?

Do you have a support group?

What are you looking for in a program?

Do your family and friends encourage this change?

Why should we choose you?

If you could pick your perfect job what would it be?

Do you have a medical mentor (someone already in the field you can talk to)?

What type of volunteer work have you done or are you going to do while in school?

Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Good luck with your interview.
