Interview question...please contribute potential responses

Hello all,

I am applying for a job that has minimal or entry level management responsibilities.

I have no experience in nursing management, I have never been charge nurse. The closest I can come to management is managing the CNAs and GNAs that worked under my license in a LTC facility (which is stretching things I admit).

I am a mid life career changer to nursing. My previous profession was teaching. I had quite a bit of experience with teaching. I am tempted to emphasize that teaching requires a significant amount of management skill and as such will help prepare me for the position I am applying for.

I expect them to ask me what makes me qualified for a management position with little to no management experience.

What do you all think? Any suggestions?
