interview coming up for hospice

Published

HI,

I have an interview coming up in a few days (Friday) for a post as a staff nurse at an adult Hospice. I sued to work there for 2 + years then went travelling for a while. Went back on fixed term contract maternity cover. No jobs available after so went back to work in community with children. Different role. Now want to go back. Only trouble is I went for an interview a few months ago and was unsuccessful. They said others were more qualified? Now I have been successful at gaining another interview. I am afraid I will not be selected again. When I was initially appointed I was told that character, personality and communication were key. Now it seems clinical skills are more important. I only have the experience I gained at the Hospice and nothing on paper. They are interviewing me so obviously my lack of qualifications in pall care did not affect selection. How can I make sure I don't ruin it again? Please help?
