I'm currently a senior in the BSN program and have some questions regarding after my graduation. I had briefly looked into the one year work visa in Australia. I recently went there for a nursing trip with NSCS and received a lot of info on them taking Americans for nursing. I'm looking at all possibilities after graduation and was wondering if anyone has experience w a similar situation. I'm wondering about the process and potential finances I may come across. My personal thoughts were that this would be a great chance to build my resume right after college and set myself up for success as well as revisit a place I enjoyed so much. I feel like Australia's health care system is very different and the chance to experience it would make me more diverse

let me know any tips you have!!!

Have you started by looking into licensing requirements for registered nurses on the APHRA website?

Competition for new grad placements for AUS grads is high you will likely have difficulty securing job placement as an inexperienced internationally educated new grad.
