Interest letter

I was wandering if anyone has tried to send out interest letters to hospitals that they are looking to apply to while still in nursing school? I am thinking of moving to Colorado once I graduate Next summer, and I want to talk to an HR person at the hospitals I am thinking about. So I was thinking of sending an interest letter to get more information about the hospital to see if they would even offer me a position.

Any thought on this would be a great help.

Best of luck to you. I just went through trying to find a job out there and everything on the major hospitals said new grads dont apply. I hope it has changed since then though.
